Everyday learning
Lighthouse is a curriculum built around a simple idea: the good deeds we do at home every day can make G-d feel welcome in our world. Each week's lesson focuses on a different way to bring that feeling home, with hands-on projects, games, and music. Topics include celebrating Shabbat, saying blessings, honoring parents, giving to charity, and more.

Hebrew reading
Our Hebrew reading curriculum runs on a color-coded level system, like karate belts. Kids move up as they master each level, not on the class's schedule. A small teacher-to-student ratio means real one-on-one time. Kids start with the Hebrew alphabet and work their way up to reading fluently from the prayer book.
Small reading groups, self-paced levels, and a real sense of progress kids can see and feel.
Holidays
Every holiday gets the hands-on treatment: workshops and shows, cool projects and crafts, cooking demos and competitions. It's a different way into every celebration on the calendar.

Tuition & financial aid
Annual tuition is $700 per child. It is our policy that no child be denied a Jewish education for any reason. If you are experiencing a genuine financial hardship, feel free to reach out to us.

Yes, we place new students in the right reading level any time of year, not just September.
